The LED grow light that finally solves uneven canopy coverage in a 5-by-5 tent. The Tarantula Tent Ultimate 5x5 V2 was built for serious indoor growers running soil or hydro who want dense, even bud development wall to wall. With a full-spectrum grow light LED design, 2820 PPF output, and tight diode spacing, this LED indoor plant grow light eliminates hot spots and weak corners. Dial it in with knob dimming or integrate it into a controller driven room for repeatable results cycle after cycle.

Energy-efficient performance is where this grow light's full-spectrum LED separates itself. At 2.82 µmol per joule, this LED grow light for plants delivers far more usable light per watt than HPS systems, which are stuck around 1.3 to 2.1 µmol per joule. That means lower power costs, lower heat load, and more photons available to buds where they are actually used.

Boost Efficiency by Mounting the Driver Outside the Tent

Improve cooling and reduce clutter by placing the driver remotely using the Grand Master LEDs Driver Box Extension. Use one Driver Box Extension per driver (two for dual-driver units like the Tarantula Tent Ultimate 5x5 V2) to streamline your setup.

Not eczema skin friendly

Since I didn’t remember which sunblock spray I had previously purchased (that was super awesome), I got this one with a few other ‘kid’ sunblock spray and stick. I had grabbed this one for a splash pad birthday party this weekend only to find out it’s messy and not eczema skin friendly. Either we got a defective bottle or it’s just the way it sprays: runny goops of sunscreen that takes awhile to dry properly (see photo). And when it dries it really does stick onto your skin as advertised (aka not breathable, pore clogging, will irritate sensitive/eczema prone skin). My youngest has eczema prone skin (that’s been flare up free for 3 years) had a severe break out on her arms after using this. And even for the sake of photo demonstration for this post my own sensitive skin got red/irritated. So does it stick-yup. Is it messy? Definitely. Easy to apply? No (your kiddos have to stay put until it dries). Did it provide sun protection? Maybe…? Sensitive skin friendly? No. Eczema skin approved? Definitely not. Recommended? Nope. We threw it away and requested a refund.
